The City of Harvey Water Treatment Plant was built in 2004 and came online in April 2005.   The Water Treatment Plant is a 1.26 million gpd Nano-Filtration Plant.  The Harvey Water Treatment Plant has 2 wells and gets the water from the New Rockford Aquifer at a rate of 876 gpm.   The Water Treatment Plant was built with the capability with expansion to treat 1,300 gpm.   2009 stats 94,683,780 gals Raw Water  69,564,380 gals Finished Water.   Storage capacity 500,000 gals Ground Storage Tank  350,000 gals High Tower  90,000 gals WTP.  The City of Harvey is classified by ISO ( Insurance Services Organization ) as a class 5. This is a Fire Protection Rating for the city.
