West Side Park
West Side Park has excellent access, located right off US Highway 52. Within a stones throw of the Harvey Swimming Pool the facility offers grass camping with ample shade!! Plenty of camping space and a relaxed atmosphere the park is used by tourist and visitors for lodging accommodations for camping or RV needs. The park has 17 RV sites with electric hook-ups, as well as, a sewage dump, restroom/shower facility, playground equipment, outdoor grills, picnic tables and shelters. The park is open to tourists and visitors for overnight lodging. For more information call (701)520-1096. NO RESERVATIONS will be taken.
Please drop payment in the box by the bathrooms, otherwise the Park Manager will be by. We really appreciate everyone who is honest with payment. Checks can be made to Harvey Park District, and if needed can be mailed to PO Box 21, Harvey ND 58341. Include dates of stay and name.
If you have a pet you must dispose of their waste properly (pick-up, put in bag or container, then put in the garbage) If for any reason you do not do this, we will be asking you to leave the campground. Pets are prohibited in the rest rooms and they must be leashed according to city code. We want your stay and others to be enjoyable. Please be considerate of others by helping with your duties.

HaRVey PARK RULES
The city of Harvey and Harvey JDA is proud of its park and works hard to maintain a friendly, family park. We ask the cooperation of all visitors to help maintain this environment and that you, always, be considerate of other visitors. To help preserve this environment, the city of Harvey and Harvey JDA has adopted the following rules.
- No excessive noise at any time. Quiet hours are observed between 11:00 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs who disturb others will be asked to leave the park.
- Fires are only allowed in fire rings. Please do not build fires on grass. You may collect dead fallen trees for fires but you may not cut standing trees.
- Do not damage park equipment.
- Motor vehicles must observe posted speed limits. If children, hikers, or bikers are present drive at a safe speed which may be less than the posted limit. Excessive motor vehicle noise will not be allowed and repeat violators may be barred from the park. Motor vehicles are not allowed to park on the grass in picnic areas. ATV’s, such as 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, etc., are prohibited in the park.
- Littering is not allowed.
- Pets must always be leashed. PET OWNERS PICK UP AFTER YOUR PETS IMMEDIATELY.
ADDITIONAL RULES FOR CAMPERS
All of the above rules apply to the campers as do the following.
- All campers must register and pay their fees in advance. Overnight guests must also register. Campers may only camp in approved sites. Children under the age of 18 must be in campsites by 10:00 pm. Parents are responsible for their children.
- Excessive noise and quiet hours are strictly enforced. Campers are here to enjoy the peace and quiet of the park which may not include your kind of music. Barking dogs must be quieted or removed.
- The park is not responsible for your personal property. Please report the loss of any property or other problems to the police.
- Do not release sewage in the campground. The dump station is located at the corner of 7th Street and Park Ave. All garbage should be placed in a receptacle. A variety of animals visit the campground each night that may scatter garbage.
- Do not leave your air conditioner running when you are not in the campground. It costs everyone.
VIOLATION OF ANY RULES
May result in you being told to leave the park through a City of Harvey employee or law enforcement. Repeat offenders may be barred from the park. Persons who do not leave when directed to leave will be arrested.
IN CASE OF STORM WATCH/WARNINGS
Severe storm WATCH means a storm is possible. Severe storm WARNING means a storm is here and you should seek immediate cover. The storm shelter is located at 120 8th Street W. If you hear the siren and see warnings on the local TV stations or local Radio Station KHND, please seek shelter.

Mick’s Hunter House
Mick’s Hunter House has three locations. One in Hurdsfield and two in Harvey, all offer excellent hunting opportunities. I have private land available at each place and there are also thousands of acres of private and public land open to hunting. The lodges have bunk beds, fully furnished kitchen, gas grill and also a cleaning station for your birds. Dogs are welcome to stay at the house. The rate is 50 dollars per day per person with a four person, four day minimum. One hundred dollars per person deposit is required for booking and the balance is due upon arrival.

KMJ RENTALS LODGING
Whether you are in the area short term or long term, for business or pleasure, KMJ Rentals has two 1,000 sq ft. lodging areas. One rental sleeps 6 and the other sleeps 8. They have fully equipped kitchens including a microwave, pizza oven, stove and cookware. They also have wi-fi, TV, towels and bedding. There is also a separate indoor cleaning area for our hunting/fishing guests.
We are located on the outskirts of Harvey, just minutes from area lakes and the Lone Tree Wildlife Management Area.

Little Red School House
The Little Red Schoolhouse is located in a country setting five miles south of Martin, just minutes from the Lone Tree Wildlife Management Area. In essence, the schoolhouse is what its name implies: a renovated schoolhouse from a bygone era.
It sleeps six guests, has a fully equipped kitchenette, satellite TV, porch, cleaning station, campfire pit, and outdoor kennel for dogs.
